A project brought us both to the JW Marriott Edmonton, a venue we now photograph weddings at and that is where our story began. We did not plan any of this. We just kept showing up to the same job, and somewhere along the way, we found each other.

How we Began
We were colleagues first. Two people put on a same work project, working long days together.
Jay had always had a camera. Photography was never just a hobby for him, it was the way he saw the world. But he had never pursued it professionally. Nandini noticed. She saw his photographs and asked him a question that changed both of their lives: "Why aren't you doing this professionally?"
Nandini had no photography experience at the time. None. But together they built the now Timeless Tales Creatives.
How we work together
No lead, no second.
Two photographers, one vision.
We are opposites in the best possible way. Nandini keeps the energy high, manages all communication and makes everyone in the room feel seen and celebrated. Jay moves quietly through that same room observing, waiting, capturing the things that happen when people forget there is a camera.
There is no lead photographer or no second shooter concept. We play to our strengths. We photograph your day from two completely different perspectives without ever feeling like a crew because after 6+ years together, we know each other's instincts completely.
Between us, we carry an understanding of diverse traditions, multi-generational celebrations and the specific, irreplaceable details that make a cultural wedding ceremony what it is. Whatever your background, we will honour it with the depth it deserves.

Raised immersed in the richness of Indian weddings, the colour, the ritual, the multi-day storytelling. She understands instinctively what it means to honor a culture through photography.
Jay - Filipino heritage
A deep appreciation for family, ceremony, and the collective joy of community. His photographs carry the warmth of a culture that celebrates love with its whole heart.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Jay’s love for photography began as a playful competition with his sister and quickly grew into a lifelong passion. His early inspiration came from the raw beauty of street photography where every corner holds a deeper story.
On a wedding day, Jay has a quiet gift for noticing what others might miss. A shared glance. A proud tear. The way your hands find each other in the middle of all the celebration. He’s always looking for the story within the story.
Jay will make sure your final gallery is filled with beautifully edited images that feel like you. These aren’t just photos for your wedding album or your walls, they are memories, captured with heart and intention.

Documentary wedding collections start at $4,500. Most couples invest around $6,500 for a full day with an album.
