It is an in person gallery reveal experience, with the people who matter most in the room. Couples describe it as one of the most emotional moments of their entire engagement. Golden Hour – the single most important tip for your session
Plan your Legislature engagement photo session to end right at golden hour. The warm light across the stone facade, the pool reflecting the sky, shadows going long and soft. It’s a completely different location in that last 45 minutes. We schedule most Legislature sessions around this time.

The Legislature gardens are famous for their tulip displays. Colour, texture, and clean fresh light make this one of the most requested booking windows of the year.

Is a permit required to photograph at the Legislature Grounds?
For outdoor portrait sessions, a permit is not required. We take care of all logistics. You simply show up.
Can we bring our dog to the Legislature Grounds?
Yes. Leashed pets are welcome on the Legislature Grounds, and honestly, some of my most joyful sessions have featured a very enthusiastic four-legged third wheel. Bring them.
How long does a session take?
Most sessions are 60 to 90 minutes. Enough time to photograph how you are to each other without feeling rushed.
What happens after our session?
Your gallery is delivered within 3–4 weeks. We’ll then sit down for your Photo Premiere — a private gallery reveal experience unique to Timeless Tales Creatives
