This Elegant Chinese Wedding at Grand Imperial Banquet Center Edmonton started with a Tea ceremony at both the couples parent’s houses. The couple’s immediate family was present for the tea ceremony, dressed in traditional outfits. Following the tea ceremony, the couple and their parents went to the Buddhist temple in Edmonton to pay their respects.
Furthermore, to finalize their wedding in their cultures, there is this unique tradition where the groom has to carry the bride from the entrance of their house to the bedroom and pop her on the bed.
The couple then quickly changed and we went for a quick wedding day portrait at Strathcona Science Park. The white wedding ceremony and reception was at the Grand Imperial Banquet Center in Edmonton. The day was filled with fun, laughter and lots of love. Lastly. the couple was not big on dancing. So this Chinese Wedding at Grand Imperial Banquet Edmonton ended with toasts and lots of hugs.
